This is a large house in typical abruzzo style, containing a large cave just off the kitchen.  It is a very luxurious house, generously furnished and equipped, with emphasis on comfort and beauty. It is surrounded by terraces and garden, and each room views the mountain range in front..Monte Sirente. It is sited on the edge of the village, and not overlooked.  It consists of a large kitchen, with wood burner and contemporary fittings with a washing machine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Off this is the large cave, used for storage of food etc.The double doors off the kitchen open onto the terrace for al fresco eating. Facing the mountains.... And although a large house, there is a double room room only that sleeps 3, because the other bedroom has been made into a garden/summer sitting room.  The bedroom has an ensuite, a four poster bed and a verandah overlooking the terraces and the mountains.  The large sitting room has a tamboured ceiling and is furnished in oriental furnishings, and has a wood burner.  The summer sitting room also has a wood burner, tamboured ceilings and a door leading onto the garden. Again, it views the mountains and garden.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The house is centrally heated and has a marble staircase leading from the kitchen. At the bottom of the stairs a
childproof 'gate' has been fitted. This is a beautiful house with a romantic feel to it; very quiet and private.  There is an intercom from the house to the apartment above and behind the house...this is for people who want to stay as a group. The house also has sky t.v. in the sitting room , a video t.v. in the bedroom  and a video t.v.
 in the kitchen. The front door has a security system. I would expect people to treat this house with the same respect that they treat their own.

and November and December....£250. per week.
